If you look at the total monthly hashrate between Q3 2019 and right now, 72% of the monthly average hashrate originates from Chinese IP blocks. These can be summarized loosely as follows:

Sophisticated, performant tooling for optimal portfolio construction and derivatives modeling. Our mission is to empower our subscribers in their never-ending search for absolute, risk-adjusted returns. We know you have your own ideas about what tickers, industries, sectors + themes you’re interested in. You want to filter a set of tickers conforming to pre-specified parameters and also easily receive suggestions of other tickers that are similar to the things you are already aware of. Imagine the best screener ever built, on steroids. Able to pivot and filter across a number of available instruments and then combine them and view what their performance might be like across a large set of market conditions. You want to pick out one or more tickers, or even just click on one of the many enabled ‘thematic labels’ that exist. You want to select your view on what you believe will happen to the ticker, at which point a backend process will run a set of statistical analyses on the underlying time series dataset, and a model prediction (which can subsequently be tuned depending on the parameters of the model) will get displayed in the web app, or will get returned to you as a response payload from the core API. Subsequently, you can optionally elect to run every single type of options strategy (we intend to support 35 and counting at launch) against the underlier, and you can see what your potential max P&L, collateral requirements (bucketed by broker), among other useful specifics are. This can be done within the web application or using a rich set of API primitives. No active trading can be done in the site in order to comply with the requirements set out by our payment processor, but being able to run every single potential options strategy using our calculators with a few clicks is a massive improvement from what is currently available through easily available commercial offerings. Identification of risk factors, scanning of social media data for systematic risks that aren’t being actively captured and exhibited in major, traditional news outlets that nonetheless could effect your holdings in order to give you a sense of comfort that you are making the right decisions is a key performance indicator. We strive to build something that gives you value at every step of the way.

Total awareness of the events, people, trends + changes that shape the present and prime the world of tomorrow. This involves two key products; Globe, a real-time map showing active news events, from protests and strikes, to wildfires burning in California, to outbreaks happening around the world, to military actions that have been reported on or industrial accidents that threaten a particular population group or industry. Graph, a real-time entity, concept & event graph (as in graph theory) and displays the connections between all the identified, ingested entities. This one is so cool, we’re so excited to show you what we’ve built.

This extends past purely market data and market research - in the dynamical system of our modern reality, even the smallest and most inconsequential change can have major and far-reaching structural changes that end up having a major real-world impact. We want you to know how everything is connected. We want you to thrive in a world of endless information overload, and be able to keep up with the near-anarchy of constant technological revolution. The distributed systems that power our platform actively scout the Web for new information every single moment of every day. Millions of new data points are ingested, processed and post-processed every day, where the connections between entities are made and a realtime graph representation of every identified entity in existence is updated for use at any moment. Our world is growing increasingly interconnected, and investors and other market participants can no longer afford to be unaware of the dense and hyper-connected nature of the diverse, interlinked sub-systems that compose the system itself. As we’ve seen in the explosive growth of social media and the importance of graph theory analytics in the world of today (and into tomorrow) everything is connected and seeing the connections between the things gives us a huge edge in understanding the world around us. Everything from prices for {listed equities, major market indices, commodity and fixed income instruments}, real-time news that we have ingested and processed hours and sometimes even days before they’ve even been mentioned in passing much less become major headlines, and even changes in corporate officer composition… before anyone else.

This post is under active construction, but hopefully has been illuminating so far.

Subscribe now

In the meantime, tell your friends, or leave a comment below.
